ANN TESTA lives in Orinda, and works out of her studio in Berkeley, California. She has been active in ceramics continuously since 1976.

Ann does functional work in addition to the non-functional raku featured on this website. She first studied ceramics at the University of California at Davis and has continued with many ceramics classes since. She was a founding co-owner of the Davis Clayworks in Davis, California, and an active member of the Artists' Collaborative in Sacramento. While living on the east coast from 1988-94 she was a juried member of the Kiln Club's Scope Gallery and the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, Virginia. Currently, she is a member of the Berkeley Potters Guild (Berkeley).

Ann is an exhibiting member of the Association of Clay & Glass Artists of California and served on the Board of Directors of the Potters Council. Her work is exhibited in a number of galleries in northern California, including the Pence Gallery (Davis), Valley Art Gallery (Walnut Creek), and Klein Gallery (Lafayette).
